FromSoftware's Elden Ring Nightreign, following an initially rocky launch, has seen some dramatic adjustments lately. Despite selling a mind-blowing 2 million copies within 24 hours, the game received a mediocre response, earning Mixed reviews on Steam (though it's since improved to Mostly Positive).
The developers aren't resting on their laurels, though. In the wake of criticism, Nightreign underwent a significant revamp in its first major update, buffing single-player features with an auto-resurrect function, among other tweaks, admitting that the game was primarily designed for multiplayer.
