Fibocom Unveils AI-Powered 5G FWA Solution at Network X 2024
Fibocom, a leading provider of cellular IoT modules, has announced the launch of an exciting new AI-powered 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solution. This groundbreaking development is set to showcase Fibocom's cutting-edge AI capabilities and further strengthen its position in the IoT market.
The 5G FWA solution is the result of a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, integrating the Snapdragon X75 5G Modem-RF System. This partnership underscores Qualcomm Technologies' commitment to a more connected and intelligent future.
The solution delivers a maximum downlink speed of 10Gigabits under NR 10CA with up to 1000MHz bandwidth. It offers a comprehensive module lineup, including the FG190W-NA and FM190(W)-GL, supporting mmWave and Sub-6GHz dual-connectivity.
One of the key features of the AI-powered FWA solution is its ability to utilise AI intelligence to understand and respond to user requests. It streamlines task management processes through voice input or text messages to OpenAI's Whisper service or web interface.

The solution also integrates Large Language Models (LLM)/Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)/Text-to-Speech (TTS) from both edge devices and the cloud. This integration is designed to simplify configuration, enhance user experience, and foster service personalization.
