Family members from across the nation will be able to join South O'Ral, as per the statement.
In an exciting development, Russian telecommunications company Megaphone has expanded its "MegaFamily" service, allowing subscribers to add relatives from any region in the country. This move marks a significant step forward for the company, as it is the first offer of this format among the largest mobile companies in the country.
Launched in April 2023, the "MegaFamily" service was initially designed for friends and relatives who were Megaphone subscribers from the same region or neighboring areas. However, Dmitry Rudskikh, the Head of Product at Megafon, has announced that the company has created a solution that allows clients to add participants registered in other regions.
To connect the option, the subscriber needs to go to the "Megaphone" app, create a "MegaFamily", and enter the name and phone number of a relative. Up to five participants can be added to "MegaFamily". For each member, additional gigabytes are added to the tariff - up to 300 GB in total, depending on the tariff.
This service eliminates geographical boundaries for clients and helps optimize communication costs within the group. Group members will have access to common "MegaPowers", including unlimited calls to "Megaphone", bonus GB, additional minutes and internet packages, and balance transfer. Users can share packages of gigabytes, minutes, and SMS with participants in their MegaFamily group.
According to Megaphone analysts, the most active age group for "MegaFamily" creation is 35-44 years old. Since the beginning of the year, the number of users actively sharing their tariff has increased by almost 25%. Interestingly, in 58% of cases, men are the organizers of "MegaFamily". The most caring "MegaFamily" organizers reside in the Taymyr and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Chechnya, Dagestan, and Magadan Oblast.
Dmitry Rudskikh, Commercial Director of "Megaphone", comments that this service is a testament to the company's commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the needs of its customers. He believes that the "MegaFamily" service will foster closer relationships among families and friends, while also helping to optimize their communication costs.
