Expanded Sony Electronics' BRAVIA range with the inclusion of the BZ53L 98-inch Screen - Essential Facts Revealed
Sony Electronics has recently unveiled a new addition to its professional BRAVIA display family, the 98-inch BZ53L. This impressive display is designed for corporate, education, and retail applications, offering a range of features that cater to the needs of these sectors.
The BZ53L boasts a 4K 120 Hz panel, ensuring a high refresh rate for smooth and seamless visuals. It also supports Pro Mode, allowing for customized settings, and 24/7 operation, making it ideal for continuous use in demanding environments.
One of the standout features of the BZ53L is its superior picture quality and immersive viewing experience. This is achieved through the use of the XR TRILUMINOS Pro effect, which reproduces a wider, more precise range of colours, and the Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) backlight, which enhances contrast and brightness.
The display is built upon the robust usability, installation flexibility, picture quality, and sustainability common to Sony's professional BRAVIA display products. It also features a discreet logo position and handles for easy transport.
In terms of connectivity, the BZ53L offers convenient accessibility to multiple terminals and supports Apple AirPlay2, Google Chromecast, and Google Meet. It also features a Software API function for direct device connection.
Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare Coating, a technology addressed to concerns related to digital signage in challenging, high ambient light or direct lighting environments, is another key feature of the BZ53L. This coating offers low reflection, deep blacks, high contrast, and precise image quality.
Rich Ventura, VP of Professional Display Solutions at Sony Electronics, stated that the BZ53L is a response to customer demand for enhanced visibility, minimal reflection, and overall effectiveness of the Deep Black Non-Glare Coating technology.
The BZ53L is approximately 44 pounds (20kg) lighter than the 100-inch BZ40J, making it easier to install with options for portrait and tilt configuration. It also uses recycled plastic materials and packaging, and has Power-Saving Mode to promote sustainability.
Sony plans to introduce RGB Mini-LED technology in more affordable and various size options, including 98 inches, expected in 2026. This will further enhance the performance and efficiency of the BZ53L and other displays in the BRAVIA family.
