Drone Exhibition Illuminates Indian Skies in Honor of PM Narendra Modi's 75th Birthday Event
India recently marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday with a series of coordinated multi-city drone shows, symbolising the country's expanding global influence and its role in uniting the world.
The shows, organised by IIT Delhi startup BotLab Dynamics, took place at four locations: Yamuna Ghatt (Delhi), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), RBNMS Ground (Bengaluru), and Sabarmati Riverfront (Ahmedabad). Each show was a testament to India's innovation and technological prowess, as well as a tribute to the Prime Minister's visionary leadership and commitment to driving the country's development.
BotLab Dynamics, the mastermind behind the spectacle, has made a name for itself by providing drone shows for various events across India, including Mahakumbh 2025, IPL, ICC Cricket World Cup, IIFA, National Games, Ayodhya Deepotsav, and Beating Retreat. The startup's latest achievement saw it secure four simultaneous drone shows at this scale within just three days.
The drone show featured various symbolic formations, such as a glowing portrait of Prime Minister Modi, the Indian Map and Globe, a fighter jet salute, a commanding Made in India lion, depictions of Digital India and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the Prime Minister as "The People's Champion", and "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - One World, One Family". The show culminated in the message "Happy Birthday Modi Ji - From Citizens of India".
The founder and CEO of BotLab Dynamics, Sagar Vaswani, expressed that the achievement was an opportunity to showcase India's innovation on the global stage. He also stated that the government of India provided support for the drone shows, reflecting the spirit of Atmanirbharta, a self-reliant India, which is supported by the Prime Minister.
In 2024, BotLab Dynamics secured five Guinness World Records during the Amaravati Drone Summit. The startup has also worked with major brands like Mercedes, Zomato, TATA, and Mahindra. The drone shows demonstrated India's leadership in deploying drone technology for large-scale celebrations, symbolising India's expanding global influence and its role in uniting the world.
The drone show, designed and executed by BotLab Dynamics, showcased India's homegrown drone technology. This event served as a reminder of India's potential to lead in the global technological landscape and its commitment to fostering innovation within its borders.
