Mohegan Sun, the popular casino and resort in Connecticut, has taken a significant step forward in supporting electric vehicle (EV) ownership by installing 60 Tesla EV destination chargers. This move makes Mohegan Sun the casino with the biggest EV charging capabilities in the state, offering a one-stop-shop for EV charging needs.
The Tesla Destination Chargers, available at three different garages - Indian Summer (Level Four), Riverview (Level Three), and Winter (Level Two) - are accessible to vehicles other than Teslas, as long as they use Universal adapters. This installation aims to reduce waiting times for available charging stations and ease trips to and from the casino, eliminating the need to search for charging stations.
