Circle K Hong Kong Restores Digital Payments After Cyberattack
Circle K Hong Kong has restored digital payment services following a recent cyberattack. Customers can now use popular top-up services like Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Octopus at the convenience store chain.
The cyberattack led to a temporary suspension of various payment methods. However, QR code, credit card, and contactless payments have been successfully reinstated. Circle K is actively working to revive the remaining affected services, such as EPS payments, bill payment services, and loyalty programme functions. Despite the attack, the group responsible remains unknown, with no information found in search results.
