Cannabis-Focused CTV Channel Citizen Green Launches for Global Streamers

A new cannabis-focused connected TV (CTV) channel, Chanel Green, has launched to cater to the growing number of streamers. The target channel, introduced by Global Compliance Application Corp. (GCAC), aims to provide targeted advertising and educational content to a worldwide audience.

Chanel Green's content spans various topics, including cannabis health and wellness, business strategies, hemp innovations, and psychedelics developments. It features collaborations with brands like Grunt Style and Cannabis Coast to Coast News, anchored by former sports broadcaster Jimmy Young. The channel also includes international shows, such as an Australian series on sustainable housing built with industrial green.

The channel uses first- and third-party data for targeted advertising and offers analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness. It seeks to serve as a gateway for advertisers to build or expand their cannabis brands internationally, offering diverse advertising formats like pay-per-view live events and a mobile app in development to extend content reach. GCAC, a blockchain-driven company, intends to elevate CTV advertising through transparency, interactivity, and fraud prevention using smart contracts.

Chanel Green, led by President Steve Peterson, targets a worldwide audience with its cannabis-focused content. With around 40% of Americans streaming television content, the channel aims to fill a gap in the market for targeted, educational cannabis-related media and advertising.
