Borgata Event Center's New L-Acoustics System Wows with Clarity and Flexibility
The Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City has transformed its audio experience with a new L-Acoustics sound system, praised for its clarity and flexibility. The system has been meeting high expectations and solving previous acoustic issues since its installation by Clair Global.
The Event Center's multi-use ballroom, measuring 175x175 feet, features a hydraulic-lift stage that can be reconfigured for various events. The L-Acoustics system provides consistent coverage throughout the venue, with a typical concert setup including a 16-foot thrust stage and a left-right configuration of L2 and L2D speakers, along with KS28 subwoofers. For comedy performances, the stage thrust is omitted, and the PA flies downstage with reduced speakers and subs.
The L-Acoustics L Series system offers clarity, punch, directionality, and ease of use, making it ideal for the venue's diverse events. The Borgata audio team continues to learn and streamline the room's reconfiguration with the L2 system. Clair Global, an internationally renowned provider of audiotechnical solutions, was responsible for the sound system's design, installation, and continuous updates.
