Black Ops 7 by Call of Duty is officially unveiled during the opening showcase from Gamescom Live
After much anticipation, Activision has officially announced the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The highly-anticipated first-person shooter game will be available worldwide on November 14, 2025, across multiple platforms including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Battle.net, Xbox on PC, and Steam).
Cooperative Campaign Makes a Return
For the first time since Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Black Ops 7 will offer a cooperative campaign, allowing up to four players to join forces and embark on an exciting adventure. The campaign can be played as a single-player or cooperatively with friends.
Exciting New Features
The game promises an array of innovative features, including advanced movement mechanics such as grapple hooks, boost jumps, wall jumps, and wing suits in the multiplayer mode. Additionally, Black Ops 7 will feature a new 20v20 Skirmish mode with vehicles and futuristic tech.
Zombies and Dead Ops Arcade Return
Zombies fans can look forward to a round-based zombies experience with new twists, including the return of Dead Ops Arcade, which was absent in Black Ops 6. Players will need to build a brand-new Wonder Vehicle for the zombies mode's biggest map.
Endgame Mode and Avalon
Black Ops 7 also introduces an Endgame mode, featuring a PvE experience with up to 32 players in four-person squads. This mode takes place in the map of Avalon.
Beta and Subscription Access
An Open Beta will be free across all platforms, with preorder players gaining early access on October 2. Moreover, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 at launch as part of their subscription.
Development Team
The game is developed by Treyarch Studios and Raven Software, with additional development support from Activision Central Design, Activision Central Technology, Activision QA, Activision Shanghai, Beenox, Demonware, Digital Legends, High Moon Studios, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games.
In conclusion, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 promises to deliver an action-packed gaming experience with its cooperative campaign, innovative features, and return of fan-favourite modes. Mark your calendars for November 14, 2025, and get ready to join the battle!
