In a groundbreaking event, the cryptobusinessman and founder of the blockchain platform Tron, Justin Sun, embarked on a suborbital journey to space today as part of Blue Origin's NS-34 mission. This marked his first spaceflight, joining a diverse crew of five other individuals.

Among the crew members were Arvinder (Arvi) Singh Bahal, a world traveler and real estate investor from the United States; Gökhan Erdem, a Turkish entrepreneur and photographer; Deborah Martorell, an Emmy-winning meteorologist and journalist from Puerto Rico; Lionel Pitchford, a humanitarian educator who has run an orphanage in Nepal for decades; and James (J.D.) Russell, an entrepreneur who previously flew on NS-28 in November 2024, making this his second spaceflight with Blue Origin.

The launch took place from Blue Origin's west Texas spaceport at 16:30 Moscow time. The launch window was carefully chosen to ensure optimal conditions for the mission. The launch broadcast will be available on the Blue Origin website 30 minutes before liftoff.
