US Bank Unveils Enhanced Features and Rewards for Customers
US Bank, a leading financial institution, has announced a series of updates and new features aimed at enhancing the banking experience for its customers.
Starting with the US Bank card, users will no longer incur ATM withdrawal fees nationwide, making transactions more convenient. Additionally, customers can enjoy 1.2 percent cashback capped at RM5 per month on DuitNow QR payments. For those making overseas purchases, the card offers unlimited 1.2 percent cashback.
US Bank is also introducing a Visa-powered card with in-app switching between debit and credit functions, providing greater flexibility to its customers.
The app's AI system will become even smarter, capable of natural language interaction and handling QR payments alongside transfers and bill payments. This upgrade will make banking more intuitive and user-friendly.
To ensure inclusivity, US Bank has added a Chinese-language option to its app, joining the existing Bahasa Malaysia and English versions. This move is part of the bank's commitment to making banking accessible to every Malaysian.
In terms of rewards, customers can look forward to 20 percent off dining at YTL Hotels restaurants, as well as partnership rewards with Shopee and Koppiku. Double cashback is available with partners such as Yes stores.
US Bank is also introducing a new toggle feature to speed up transactions, making banking even more efficient.
For those seeking credit, US Bank offers PayLater credit of up to RM1,499. The app will also add a fully integrated JomPAY flow, allowing customers to manage bills and payments in one place.
Security is a top priority for US Bank. The card comes with biometric login, real-time fraud alerts, and protection under the Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation (PIDM) up to RM250,000.
Dato' Seri Yeoh Seok Hong, Managing Director of YTL Power International, stated that US Bank is committed to making innovation accessible to the community. He emphasized that these updates and new features are part of the bank's ongoing efforts to provide a superior banking experience for its customers.
