AVM's FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor Brings Wi-Fi 7 to Gardens and Terraces
AVM has introduced the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor, a robust, compact device designed for both outdoor and indoor use. It's the first outdoor-specific product from AVM to feature Wi-Fi 7 technology, priced at €129.
The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE+) and has a durable, IP54-certified housing, making it suitable for gardens and terraces. Despite its outdoor capabilities, it can also be used indoors, seamlessly integrating into existing FRITZ!Box mesh networks for reliable connections.
The repeater supports Wi-Fi 6 and dual-band technology, delivering data rates up to 3,000 MBit/s. This ensures fast, stable wireless connectivity across various devices. Notably, AVM has not released any other outdoor-specific Wi-Fi 7 products recently, making the 1610 Outdoor a standout addition to their lineup.
The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is now available for €129, offering a versatile, robust solution for extending Wi-Fi coverage outdoors and indoors. Its Wi-Fi 7 technology and seamless integration with FRITZ!Box mesh networks make it a valuable investment for users seeking reliable, high-speed connectivity.
