Automotive sector company identifies as AUMOVIO, showcasing technology for forthcoming transportation solutions.
At the upcoming IAA Mobility event in Munich, September 2025, AUMOVIO, the newly independent technology and electronics company, will showcase its groundbreaking innovations in the field of safe, inspiring, connected, and autonomous mobility [1][2][3].
One of the key highlights is the Green Electric Caliper, an energy-saving brake module designed specifically for electric vehicles. This hydraulic-free module is lighter than conventional calipers, improving EV range, lowering costs, and reducing carbon emissions [1]. It is optimized for electric vehicles with large, narrow tires.
AUMOVIO will also present the next generation of its Corner Module, a compact chassis unit that integrates drive, brake, steering, and suspension in one system. With a by-wire architecture and 150-degree wheel-specific steering, this module offers significantly better maneuverability and maximizes drive efficiency, requiring considerably less space [1]. This leads to an increased range, lower costs, and minimized carbon emissions.
The Corner Module meets all requirements for integrating an entire system into a standard passenger car. Its basis comprises a scalable drive and brake unit that integrates the engine and the brake on the wheel. This maximizes drive efficiency and requires considerably less space, opening up greater freedom in vehicle design [1].
AUMOVIO will exhibit at Hall B1, Booth B01. The exhibits will be categorized into four areas: "safe," "inspiring," "connected" and "autonomous."
Another innovation on display is the Xelve System, a scalable and modular hardware and software platform supporting assisted and automated driving from Level 2 to Level 4 [2]. Xelve offers ultra-precise, automated parking functions (Xelve Park), AI-supported decision making (Xelve Drive), and a fallback solution for automated driving at Level 4 (Xelve Pilot). Xelve is a performance- and cost-optimized system that can be customized for vehicles ranging from high-volume to premium segments.
AUMOVIO will also present its "Window Projection" technology, which projects content onto the side window of a vehicle using a powerful mini projector, an electrically dimmable side window, and intelligent software [1].
The integrated "Road to Cloud" platform for software-defined vehicles will be presented by AUMOVIO at this year's IAA, offering a complete infrastructure from a single source [1]. The "Road to Cloud" platform covers all vehicle segments with scalable server zone architectures, from entry-level models to premium vehicles. It includes standardized operating systems, middleware, over-the-air updates, and cybersecurity, offering vehicle manufacturers maximum flexibility when designing their individual vehicle architectures.
AUMOVIO is also showcasing a new night vision camera that significantly improves image quality in the dark, thanks to the support of an AI resolution developed in-house [1].
The event will take place from September 9 to 12, 2025, with a press day on September 8. Don't miss the opportunity to witness these revolutionary technologies firsthand at IAA Mobility 2025.
