Automotive Logistics 2025: Industry Charts Course to Carbon Neutrality

The Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain Europe 2025 conference concluded with a focus on the industry's path to carbon neutrality. Key players discussed strategies for measuring and reducing emissions and waste within supply chains and transport networks.

Jean-Christophe Deville, Toyota's vice-president of Supply Chain, stressed the importance of enduring partnerships in the EV industry. Meanwhile, a panel discussion underscored the need for robust and flexible supply chain strategies, given Europe's competitive landscape and complex geopolitical factors.

Levent Yuksel and Anouck Arnaud shared insights on green logistics during the 'Sustainable Freight Keynote and Ideas Lab' session. Dr Michael Nikolaides, BMW's senior vice-president, delivered a keynote on navigating immediate pressures and future transformations in the automotive value chain.

The conference concluded with a focus on leveraging logistics as a competitive advantage.
