Audrey McLoghlin Launches Sustainable Women's Brand Grayson, Secures Nordstrom & Anthropologie Wholesale Deals
Audrey McLoghlin, the entrepreneur behind Frank & Eileen, has launched her second brand, Grayson. The women's clothing line debuted as a direct-to-consumer (DTC) venture and secured wholesale partnerships with prominent retailers like Nordstrom and Anthropologie.
Grayson, founded by McLoghlin in 2021, follows her successful launch of Frank & Eileen in 2009. Unlike many DTC companies, Grayson is not backed by venture capital money. Instead, it focuses on sustainability and profitability, reflecting McLoghlin's approach to her previous businesses.
The brand's core product, The Hero, is a women's shirt priced between $128 and $138, available in sizes 01-05. It launched with 15 colors and prints in washed cotton, with plans for a new capsule collection monthly. McLoghlin chose Anthropologie and Nordstrom as wholesale partners due to their reputation and customer base. She has also gained Walmart as a sales partner for her new core product.
Grayson began as a pure-play digital business but plans to incorporate physical shopping experiences in the future. McLoghlin feels she's launching two businesses at once, managing the different requirements of DTC and wholesale sales.
Grayson, McLoghlin's second brand, has debuted successfully with its core product, The Hero. The brand aims for sustainability and profitability, following McLoghlin's approach to her previous businesses. Grayson plans to expand its physical shopping experiences in the future, building on its strong wholesale partnerships with Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Walmart.
