AI-Powered Sales Meeting Platform Secures $6 Million in Seed Funding
Lyra, an innovative AI-native meeting platform designed specifically for sales teams, has raised $6 million in seed funding at a valuation of $40 million. The funding round was led by 468 Capital, with contributions from Rebel Fund, Y Combinator, Transpose Ventures, and executives from Ramp, Gusto, and Zapier.
Founded by CEO Courtne Marland, a serial entrepreneur with marketing and product experience, and CTO Henry Kwon, an award-winning full-stack developer, Lyra has been transforming traditional sales calls into dynamic, collaborative "deal rooms" since its launch. The platform uses a 4K-resolution real-time whiteboard interface that replaces slide decks and screen shares, enabling sales reps to work together more effectively.
During sales calls, an embedded AI agent listens to conversations and surfaces relevant data, documents, and next steps contextually, without disrupting the flow. This AI also detects decisions made on calls and auto-creates follow-up tasks to reduce busywork and prevent dropped leads. As a result, sales reps can ramp up in just two weeks instead of the usual three months, thanks to AI-guided prompts.
According to Courtne Marland, Lyra's CEO and co-founder, the platform delivers value quickly in live calls. Philipp Seifert, Partner at 468 Capital, was impressed by the speed at which Lyra's platform delivers value in live calls. He finds it rare to see such clear customer impact this early in a startup.
Since its launch, Lyra has seen rapid growth, increasing revenue from $20,000 to $700,000 in six weeks. The company is currently handling over 200 hours of sales calls weekly and counts customers like Helix, Relate, Context, and Educate.
Lyra is not just a sales meeting platform; it is also positioning itself as a next-generation workflow automation and collaboration tool. It aims to replace rigid templates and siloed software by building an intelligent platform that understands workflows deeply and adapts in real time with AI agents that support decision-making and eliminate friction between tools and team members.
With the new funding, Lyra aims to enhance its AI capabilities, expand its team, and scale operations to meet strong market demand. Courtne Marland believes the team will continue to grow and innovate, redefining sales collaboration and workflow automation for modern teams. The funding round signals strong investor confidence in the potential to revolutionize the sales industry with Lyra's innovative approach.
