The tool can be accessed through Google's advanced AI models like Veo, Imagen, and Gemini, and can be found within these platforms, including Gemini's prompt interface where users select “Videos” to create clips from images.
All AI-generated videos include visible watermarks to indicate synthetic content and invisible digital SynthID watermarks for authenticity.
Supporting Filmmakers' Creative Workflows
Google's Tom Hume, Director of Product Management at Google DeepMind, stated that early access to Flow helped them understand how to best support filmmakers' creative workflows. Insights from filmmakers have been incorporated into Flow, allowing it to adapt to the specific needs of the filmmaking industry.
Flow provides filmmakers with AI-powered tools for video editing, shot composition, speech and dubbing generation, and innovative photo-to-video transformation, accessible via Google AI subscription services across multiple continents. With Flow, filmmakers can explore their ideas freely while crafting cinematic clips and scenes, making video creation more accessible and efficient than ever before.
