Hyundai Santa Fe Upgrades for 2026 Model Year
The Hyundai Santa Fe, which entered the German market in 2024, has undergone a facelift for the 2026 model year. The revisions, carried out by Hyundai itself, aim to enhance the vehicle's performance and appeal.
One of the most significant changes is the increase in power output for the 1.6 T-GDI full hybrid drive of the Santa Fe. The power now stands at 239 PS, an improvement from the previous 215 PS. This upgrade results in a more responsive driving experience, with the 0-100 km/h sprint time now taking 9.0 or 9.2 seconds (previously 9.6 or 9.8 seconds).
The system torque for the 1.6 T-GDI engine remains at 380 Nm. The towing capacity has also been increased, allowing for trailers up to two tons to be towed, an improvement from the previous limit of 1,110 kilograms.
The configuration options for the drive of the Santa Fe remain the same, offering both front and all-wheel drive. The Prime trim line, however, has been discontinued.
The Signature and Blackline variants of the Santa Fe have received upgrades. The Blackline trim for the full hybrid drive now starts at 62,550 euros, while the Signature variant of the 1.6 T-GDI Santa Fe now starts at 59,750 euros (an increase of 200 euros).
The PHEV version of the Santa Fe continues to allow for towing of trailers just over one ton, and no changes were made to the equipment structure or the PHEV drive in the facelift for the 2026 model year. The PHEV version is available from 64,150 euros.
A new exterior colour, Ecotronic Grey, has been added to the Santa Fe colour palette. The digital vehicle key 2.0 is now standard in all Santa Fe variants, offering a more convenient and secure way to access and start the vehicle.
The facelift for the Santa Fe was in response to customer wishes, aiming to provide a more enjoyable and efficient driving experience. The upgraded Santa Fe is set to hit dealerships in the coming months.
