9 Inquiries Regarding Trump Mobile and the Gold T1 Handset Urgently Sought

On a Random Monday, Trump's New Cell Service, Trump Mobile, is Revealed!

Say hello to the latest addition to the world of wireless services – Trump Mobile, complete with a golden $499 smartphone called the T1! A bizarre move, sure, but not entirely unheard of as celebrities often dabble in mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs). Even the guys from the SmartLess podcast have one!

But here's where things start getting puzzling. The details about Trump's cell plan and the T1 phone feel dubious at best. We've fired off a ton of questions to Trump Mobile, but they're yet to respond.

First Things First – The T1 Phone

The Trump Mobile website boasts about "the T1 phone," rattling off specs that seem in line with a low-end Android handset. It claims 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, USB-C charging, and more. But there's one strange detail – the camera is referred to as a "5000mAh long life camera." Uh, nope. That's a battery!

The render of the T1 phone on their website is a bit suspect, too. The camera has no sensors, the lenses are out of whack, and the volume and power rockers appear in the front view but not the rear view. Plus, another section of the site showcases what looks like an iPhone render.

If you order a T1 smartphone today, don't expect a device that looks like the one on their site to show up at your door.

Attention to Detail – Or Lack Thereof

Another red flag is the T1's claim to be "proudly designed and built in the United States." Well, that's a tall order! We're aware of only one smartphone that bills itself as fully USA-made: the Liberty Phone from Purism, and it'll set you back a whopping $2,000 due to its bespoke production process. It's highly unlikely that the Trump Organization can whip up a state-side smartphone manufacturing system in time to churn out the T1 by August, especially at the $499 price point.

Even Eric Trump, in an interview with Benny Johnson, admitted that the domestic manufacturing claim was more of a far-off goal. "Eventually all the phones can be built in the United States of America," he said, adding that the company's St. Louis customer service centers are their primary US tie.

Process Power – What's Under the Hood?

Lastly, we're curious about the processor powering the T1 smartphone. Neither Trump Mobile nor its website offer any clues, leaving us guessing whether it's as powerful as the gold-colored exterior suggests.

In short, the T1 smartphone's "Made in USA" claim seems far-fetched, and the processor remains a mystery. We'll update as soon as we get more deets from the Trump Mobile crew! Stay tuned! 📱💰
