1Kosmos Secures $57M in Series B Funding for Passwordless Authentication

1Kosmos, a leading identity verification and passwordless authentication platform, has secured a significant funding boost. The Series B round, led by Forgepoint Capital and Oquirrh Ventures, has brought the company's total funding to over $72 million.

The round, completed in August 2025, saw 1Kosmos raise $57 million, with an additional $10 million line of credit from Bridge Bank. Other investors included Information Venture Partners, Rucker Park Capital, and existing investor ServiceNow. The company, led by CEO Hemen Vimadalal and headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, provides a unified platform using live biometrics and passwordless authentication, conducting millions of authentications daily for various industries worldwide.

With the new funds, 1Kosmos plans to fuel product innovation, expand globally, and strengthen its integrations with other platforms.

The successful Series B funding round, totaling over $72 million, positions 1Kosmos to drive further growth and innovation in the identity verification and authentication space. The company's cutting-edge technology and strategic investments will enable it to serve its global client base more effectively.
